Groups + Events

“Over the past 40 plus years I’ve seen Camp Caravan go from ideas to manifestation in a profound way. I’ve witnessed real doing, real action in the world. I’ve seen the Work in motion and it is truly inspirational for me. I have witnessed the evolution of the group and in its reflection of the process, I see the evolution of the individuals and of the group itself.”

Gurdjieff left a practical teaching, to be transmitted in a group or community medium. This can provide ideal opportunities to work towards building balanced relationships within ourselves, with others, and for the Work.

The Fourth Way teachings evolve to fit time and place. Here at Camp Caravan, we are open to that evolution. Participation may include Gurdjieff Movements, spiritual exercises, practical physical work, psychology, the arts, cosmology, the enneagram, meditation, presence, relaxation, sensation, service, and more.

Our Work together draws on the group itself as the leader.

Open Work Days

Work Days provide ideal opportunities for getting a taste of what it is like to work with a Fourth Way group. We invite you to attend these events that are open to everyone, whether it is your first time participating or you have long-standing experience. Held at Camp Caravan from early spring through late autumn, we announce these day-long events in the Camp Caravan monthly enews

Will this be your first visit to Camp Caravan? Contact the Registrar with any questions, and let us know your plans.

Seminars

Camp Caravan’s residential Summer Seminars can be life-changing experiences. Each person’s presence becomes an important ingredient for the fabric and direction of the seminars. View details about the Camp Caravan Summer Seminar program here. Additional special seminars may be scheduled in the fall or spring, with announcements in the Camp Caravan enews.
